As you may know from previous blogs, newsletters and social posts, we’re growing rapidly. With quick growth, comes logistics, reorganization and process overhaul. If not managed properly, growth can stress an organization. Lucky for us, we have Abby Weaver.
Abby is committed to ensuring smooth hiring, on-boarding and training while continuing her day-to-day duties. She keeps our team firing on all cylinders and happily assists with any loose ends any team member needs help with.
We don’t know where we’d be without her!
Without further ado, we’re proud to introduce you to our spectacular office administrator, Abby Weaver.
Abby brings years of healthcare operations management experience and study to the Maxwell team. In her role as office administrator, Abby assists MHA leadership with day-to-day operations.
Prior to joining the MHA team, Abby served as an office manager in a dental office. The underlying thread is Abby’s enthusiasm for managing and building the framework for various divisions of healthcare while maintaining an overarching goal of patient care and experience.
Abby holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration and a bachelor’s in exercise science and nutrition.
When Abby isn’t holding down MHA headquarters in Minnesota, you can find her spending time with her four pets (see her cat Princess below) and her boyfriend Tom. She’s passionate about music, experiencing different cultures and learning to live a minimalist life style.
Here’s what Abby says about her role, her passions and healthcare.
“A patient-focused approach to healthcare is vital to our society. Studies show time and time again that when we focus on the wellbeing of the patient over everything else, care quality and outcomes improve dramatically. I’m thrilled to be a part of an organization that is truly focused on helping patients and improving our healthcare system as a whole. Additionally, I love being part of a successful remote dynamic. I have a strong research interest in virtual management as a way to improve overall business performance and patient care. Working virtually adds an awesome dimension to my day. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Maxwell team.”
